When designing  vases for Markslöjd, I found inspiration in the beauty of glass , a material that is shaped by fire and earth and  offers endless design possibilities. For this series, I was thinking about the staircase of life, symbolized by steps and levels. The original design had sharp edges, but during production, they softened. Instead of resisting, I embraced this change. The final design with soft edges gives the vase a gentle look and reflecting light beautifully.
