MOBIL: ‘Give me a lamp that will look great in a New York loft’

With those words I started to work with a new series for PHOLC. Using black metal tubes and round glass was a given for me when thinking of the typical New York balcony racks in black metal and the round streetlights on Brooklyn Bridge. Working with these ‘ingredients’ has resulted in a ceiling lamp where 4 equal parts are linked to each other. Turning each part makes it look like a mobile. The wall lamp and table lamp in the same collection are minimalistic. The tubes that lead electricity to the bulb have one soft corner and one sharp bend. Both cool and functional.
