Styrka

This lamp is the result of a unique collaboration between industrial designer Monika Mulder, fashion stylist Filippa Rådin, and Olympic medalist Anja Pärson, creating for Markslöjd. Named “Styrka”, which means “strength” in Swedish, the lamp symbolizes the power of collaboration and what can be achieved through teamwork.

The lamp’s design features six petal-like shields made from banana fibers, which surround the light source, giving it a flower-like appearance. The petals both soften and enhance the light, while the central light source is covered by glass, adding a touch of luxury to the overall structure. This design likely embodies a blend of industrial aesthetics with natural materials and elegant design to create a bold and beautiful statement piece.
